More about Darryl: Having grown up on a farm, Darryl studied animal behavior at an early age from his Father a former SPCA officer and BCAI cattle specialist but it wasn’t until 1994 that he became seriously involved with dogs. Since then, dogs and training have become a lifestyle for Darryl and he has achieved the ultimate success having represented Canada three times at world championship events. German Shepherds and the sport of schutzhund is Darryl’s chosen discipline which has given him experience and knowledge in tracking, obedience and protection. Tracking has always been Darryl’s favorite activity with his dogs as it allows him to work with the dog’s natural abilities and stimulates their minds more than any other form of exercise. Darryl’s calm, patient demeanor makes him a natural at teaching tracking and his dogs are proof of the training with 27 times schutzhund III and master tracking titles.
